VCF Femenino won 2-0 at home in their latest league game, in a positive performance. Anita Marcos and M. Portales were the goalscorers, as the team pressed high and caused their opponents problems throughout the game.
Anita Marcos and Chacón would put Sevilla FC goalkeeper Yoli Aguirre in trouble with two shots in the 23rd and 24th minutes, followed by a volley from Fiamma that required a spectacular save.
Subsequent attempts by Kerlly R. and Anita Marcos were repelled by the defence, as attack on the wings and through the middle kept the visitors guessing.
The second half began with a shot by Marcos in the 50th minute that Aguirre cleared with her foot.
The opening goal finally came in the 61st minute, when Asun was fouled in the box and Marcos converted the resulting penalty.
VCF Femenino went in search of a second goal, as Sevilla FC also rallied. In the 88th minute, Portales went on the run and finished off her chance to kill off the game.
