Match Report: VCF MESTALLA snatch late win against Nffc FC B (0-1)
oselu's last-gasp goal earned VCF Mestalla the win on Matchday 2 of the Premier League International Cup
The VCF Academy sides were on holidays just a few weeks ago. Albeit, the professionals from the various different VCF Academy departments were planning out the return of the teams ahead of the 2021-22 season.
The first team to return have been the VCF Mestalla who reported back for preseason duty on July 12th undergoing their medical and fitness tests ahead of taking it to the field later this week. Thus, Miguel Ángel Angulo starts working with a squad that aspire to be competitive ahead of the start of the competition on the weekend of the 4-5 of September.
Juvenil A will not take long to return with a new man in the dugout, José Bargues whose team will play in the División de Honor next season. They will report for duty next week on July 19th. Juvenil B will return in midweek on Wednesday, July 21st under José Bravo’s orders.
VCF Cadete A were one of the lasts sides to end their season in the past campaign and they will resume training after nearly a month on holiday break. Like all VCF Academy players, Nacho Tarín’s side have time to unwind but also to keep their fitness and nutritional levels up away from the Paterna facilities. The other Cadete side, the Fundación Cadete will start their preseason the upcoming 29th of July under Paco Cuenca’s orders.
The men’s Infantil sides will start on the following days:
VCF Infantil A will resume training on July 30th three days before Fundación Infantil get underway on the 2nd of August. VCF Infantil B will undergo their fitness and medical tests on the 4th of August who will compete in Preferente Infantil. Regarding 8-a-side football teams the little ones from the VCF Academy will take it to the field on September 1st and 2nd.
The VCF Femenino b team will return to training at the start of August, or what is the same on the 2nd of August on that same day, VCF Femenino C players will undergo their medical tests.
On September 1st VCF Femeninio C and Infantil players will rejoin training a few days earlier than the VCF Femenino Alevín and Benjamín sides who will be the last sides to do so.
