Valencia CF winners in XL Gala Nacional del Deporte

Valencia CF were awarded by the Spanish Sports Press Association (AEPD) at the XL Gala Nacional del Deporte, held this Monday at the Los Planos Pavilion in Teruel.
The event, which recognises the most prominent personalities in sport and the media, had been postponed until now due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Valencia CF were awarded the prize for having won the Copa del Rey in 2019. Ambassadors and legends Ricardo Arias and Miguel Tendillo received the distinction on behalf of the club.
In addition, the Spain Under-21 team, who won the European Championship in 2019, were also awarded. Carlos Soler was part of that side.
Finally, the Sporting Values Award went to the 'Reminiscence: Football against Alzheimer's' project, designed by Fernando Giner, club legend and president of the VCF Footballers Association, amongst others.
