Valencia CF, VCF Footballers Association and IOON start new year of A-ball activity
This Thursday, the VCF Footballers Association presented IOON as the main sponsor of A-ball, a wheelchair football activity that has been consistently supported by the Valencia CF and the association. They join PUMA, who have donated kit for the 2021/22 season, and CaixaBank Acción Social, whose financial contribution has allowed the purchase of wheelchairs for the players, in backing the project this year.

The event at Mestalla was attended by A-Ball team captains Rubén Mullor and Luis Peinado, VCF Academy director general, Sean Bai, and Teo Swee Wei, VCF Foundation director general.
Speaking at the presentation, Teo Swee Wei stated that: “For the club and the VCF Foundation it is very important to contribute to society. The players also show their commitment in this regard, donateing part of their wages to the VCF Foundation and participating in the social actions put on by the club, the VCF Foundation and the VCF Footballers Association."
“For us, contributing to A-ball is an example of our conviction to inclusive football, just like our VCF Inclusivo team. Football is a sport for everyone."

Alongside the club representatives were VCF ambassador Miguel Tendillo; the president of the VCF Footballers Association, Fernando Giner; association directors Arturo Boix and Toni Payá; Miguel Ángel Bossio, coach of the A-ball team and VCF ambassador, and fellow coach Juan Manuel Sampedro.

Alberto Gómez, CEO of IOON; Isaac Martín, account executive ION; José Iváñez de Lara, Puma Club Partnership coordinator; and Encarna Alcaide, territorial manager of Social Action at Caixabank, were present on behalf of the collaborating entities.
