Thus far in the league season, no away side has been able to leave the stadium with the three points. Valencia CF are the third best home side in the top flight, with 26 points to their name after seven wins and five draws. They have not lost at home in LaLiga since April 28th, 2019, meaning there is plenty of reason to be optimistic ahead of Matchday 24 -against an Atletico Madrid team currently fourth in the table.

Some 45 points remain up for grabs in 2019/20, and getting back on form after a loss to Getafe is the sole focus for Valencia CF. Atletico have been struggling for results as of late, but claimed a win on Matchday 23, whilsst the VCF players were emphatic about their need to put things right through self-analysis.

A win at Mestalla would put the goal average between the two teams in Valencia CF's favour, and maintain what is one of the most impressive home records in Europe.
