Valencia CF brand value growth recognised in independent study
Valencia CF are the club with the fifth most valuable brand in LaLiga, according to the ‘Football Annual 2020’ independent study by consultancy Brand Finance. The study also found VCF to be the Spanish top flight club with the most brand value growth this year, increasing by 33% and taking them up 12 positions in the Most Valuable Brand ranking. This places them fourth in the ‘big’ European leagues in terms of yearly improvement.

The report by the London-based consultancy puts Valencia CF 15th in terms of strongest brands, a climb of 19 places from 2019. Only Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are positioned ahead of them out of the LaLiga sides.
A fan survey found that Mestalla is highly valued, for its atmosphere (pre-pandemic), history and matchday experience, coming out top in the latter category out of 60 stadia. Overall, it placed 13th for the combination of experience, income and impact.
