‘Un sentiment etern’ exhibition inaugurated at the Westin Hotel by Anil Murthy
The display of photographs and objects of historical value will be open until January 7th
Valencia CF president Anil Murthy inaugurated the VCF Foundation’s 'Un sentiment etern' exhibition on Friday at the Westin Hotel in Valencia. The event was attended by representatives of the VCF Foundation and the VCF Footballers Association, including VCF Footballers Association President Fernando Giner and club ambassadors Miguel Tendillo and Miguel Ángel Bossio.

The exhibition is a journey through the 101-year history of Valencia CF, using photographs and objects of great historical value. It is part of the socio-cultural collaboration agreement between the VCF Foundation and The Westin which is in the centre of the city and can be visited from this Friday until January 7th.

“I am very happy to be here to inaugurate the VCF Foundation's socio-cultural agreement with The Westin,” Anil Murthy told the media. “What better way to start this agreement than with the ‘Un sentiment etern’ exhibition? It is a chance for people to visit and see the great history of Valencia CF. We are proud to continue increasing our social and cultural involvement here in Valencia.”

“I also want to thank Fernando Giner and the VCF Footballers Association for providing valuable objects to improve the exhibition,” continued the club president.
“Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation want to work more with all the collectives to improve our social involvement. Valencia CF is a very important social ambassador for the city. Historical memory is a collective memory, and the club have a responsibility to share everything we have with Valencianistas -both here and around the world”.

"A unique opportunity for Valencianistas"
Westin Hotel director Rocio Cibrán highlighted the importance of the collaboration agreement with the VCF Foundation.
“This is a great opportunity for us to get even closer to Valencia and Valencian people. We have a great relationship with Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation, and for me this collaboration finally culminates all these conversations that we have had about reaching a socio-cultural agreement. I would also like to take this opportunity to appeal to everybody’s sense of responsibility; the capacity for the exhibition is reduced to a maximum of 6 people in the gallery and, of course, the use of a mask is mandatory.”

Speaking on behalf of the VCF Foundation, Loles Ruiz, Head of History and Heritage for Valencia CF, expressed that “This is a unique opportunity for Valencianistas to learn about the history of the club. They will be able to see photos reflecting over one hundred years of history in the exhibition. Since 2011, Valencia CF have gradually been increasing a collection that represents the club's history, and we now have more than 1,000 inventoried objects - ready for the future museum when it opens.”
The ‘Un sentiment etern’ exhibition opened for the first time in March 2020 but could only be visited during a single weekend at the Diputació de Valencia hall before lockdown began on March 14th. Now it will be reopened and available to all Valencianistas until January 7th at the Westin Hotel. The location is close to the club, boasts exceptional facilities, and enjoys an excellent relationship with Valencia CF.
