Óscar Fernández: “It’s a pity to come away with a point, we wanted all three”

Valencia CF Mestalla Óscar Fernández assessed the 1-1 draw in their outing to Peña Deportiva after going in front with ten men for the remaining half an hour and  being held to a late draw.

“The game makes a difficult reading. The team have taken a step forward. We’ve been solid, we’ve dust ourselves off from yet another contentious sending off.

Playing here in blustery conditions against a physically demanding side… with the game heading our way, it’s a pity to come away with a point because we wanted all three points. We must make this point valuable next week”.
