On Thursday morning at the Ciudad Deportiva, Valencia CF's three new additions in the winter transfer market trained with their teammates for the first time. Ferro, Christian Oliva and Patrick Cutrone had all been awaiting clearance after participating in Covid-19 safety protocol, and after several days training alone, they finally joined up with the squad.

The session, headed by coach Javi Gracia, saw the players welcomed by their new teammates and put through their paces in an intense workout, with the focus on Sunday's LaLiga game in Bilbao against Athletic Club.
