Valencia CF Players Association to play the 4th charity match for the DANA in Puertollano
This charity match will take place against a team of Atlético Puertollano veterans on 15 June at 12:00 at the Estadio Ciudad de Puertollano.
90-year-old Vicenta Carrasco is Valencia CF's oldest female season ticket holder. On International Women's Day, we celebrate her and other dedicated fans of the club.
A member since 1958, Vicenta received a special surprise to mark the occasion. Valencia CF ambassador Miguel Tendillo and VCF Femenino players Berta Pujadas and Júlia Aguado presented her with a team shirt, featuring her name on the reverse and the year of her registration as a season ticket holder.
"I first came here when I was 3 or 4 years old. The stands weren't even built then," she said outside Mestalla.
"When we were young kids, 16 or 17 years old, there was a group of us who went to games. I was the only girl. I've seen Valencia CF become champions and I've seen them play in the Segunda División. I've seen them be promoted and I've kept watching, because I always felt something for Valencia CF."
Delighted with the homage, Vicenta commented that "It's a joy. I want other women season ticket holders to last as long as I have. I want them to receive the same homage, because they deserve it."
