Match Report: VCFF fall to away loss to Madrid CFF (4-1)
The opening quarter of an hour saw an evenly poised clash with chances few and far between for either side. Thus, the home side grew as the half wore off. The hosts rattled the crossbar with a wicked cross and minutes later, Bea Belt ran had her shot blocked by Paola.
Noelia Gil was called into action to make two point-blank range saves to keep the scoreline at 0-0 with all to play for in the second half.
Three quick-fire goals from Priscila on 49 minutes, Laurita on 53 minutes and Priscila on 56 minutes to give the hosts a three goal lead inside 11 minutes. Valeria added a fourth for the hosts late on on 73 minutes. Valencia CF were suffering a heavy defeat.
Alejandra scored nothing but a last gasp consolation goal at the end with a long range effort which crept in inside the post on 92 minutes. The game finished in a 4-1 loss on the road at Madrid CFF.
Valencia CF will welcome FC Barcelona Femení on Sunday 13th of December on matchday 11.
