Mamardashvili enters the Top 5 U-25 goalkeepers' list

The CIES Football Observatory has prepared a new ranking of players in which Valencia CF is once again the protagonist. Specifically, Giorgi Mamardashvili has slipped in among the players on the list, being one of the most prominent of the list, which compares the performance of players from a total of 75 leagues around the world.

The ranking highlights the best Under-25 goalkeepers based on the minutes played in the last 365 days weighted by the sporting level of the matches. In that sense, Giorgi's performance has allowed him to be a fundamental piece in Valencia CF and he has also played a leading role with his national team reaching a 67.0 coefficient.

The only U-25 goalkeepers who surpass Mamardashvili with their records are Gianluigi Donnarumma (PSG), Bentko Krepski (At. Paranaense) and Diogo Costa (Porto), but the Valencian player is above outstanding goalkeepers such as Illan Meslier (Leeds), Maarten Vandervoordt (Genk) and Antoliy Trubin (Shakhtar).
