Lille coach Galtier: "It's also a final for us"
LOSC Lille coach Cristophe Galtier and defender Gabriel were at Mestalla on Monday in the leadup to the Champions League game against Valencia CF, and the pair gave their assessment of the team and the formidable atmosphere they expect at the stadium on Tuesday night.
"I've read some quotes from Albert Celades saying that this game is a final for Valencia CF, and it is also a final for us -or even more," said the coach.
"In order to keep our dream of continuing in the Champions League alive, we have to do well tomorrow. Any other result that isn't a victory will send us straight out of the running for the knockout stages."

Galtier commented that "Valencia CF are used to the Champions League, they are playing at home and they are going to play to win. We have to at least play like in the first game. This competition is extraordinary and we don't want to be eliminated from it. We aren't the favourites and I hope that we show determination against excellent opponents and an excellent set of fans."
Gabriel added that Lille "want to play like in the first meeting between us."
"I didn't see their match against Espanyol, but teams who win their previous match usually come in stronger and with more desire. We have prepared well for this game, both teams will look for the victory and it's going to be a great match," he opined.
