VCF Mestalla to compete in a new-look Premier League International Cup
The reserve side will face West Ham United, Middlesbrough, Southampton FC and Manchester United in a U21 competition featuring academies from different European countries.
VCF Mestalla continue their season preparations commencing on the 4-5 of September. Lassina Sangaré is the latest addition and he has already had the chance to feature for his new side for the season.
The Ivorian midfielder shared his thoughts with VCF Media, showing his excitement after joining the VCF Academy.
“I’m really happy to join a great club in Europe. Lassina has Tercera División experience with CD Paracuellos last season. “I began my playing career in my country, Ivory Coast. I spent two years in the top flight at Williamsville AC. Then my agents brought me over to Spain, to Paracuellos and now I’m very happy to join Valencia CF”.
Collectively, Lassina Sangaré knows that the objective is to win promotion to Segunda B (Segunda RFEF). He is now working alongside the rest of his teammates to play as many minutes as possible and stay injury free”.
