Koba Leïn: “I'm very happy to get more minutes with the team. It makes me proud, and I have a desire for more.”
Koba Leïn is growing at Valencia CF and taking advantage of every minute played with the first team. The VCF midfielder renewed his contract with the Club last summer and is willing to continue growing with the trust of the Club and Bordalás. He speaks about that in this interview with VCF MEDIA.
Minutes with the first team
I'm very happy to get more minutes with the team. It makes me proud, and I have a desire for more. It's important to gain minutes and help the team out. For a player, playing is the most important thing.
Trust from the coaching stuff
Since the coach arrived here, I think that I've grown as a player -above all, in terms of my dynamic on the pitch and my fitness. I've noticed on the pitch that I've grown in those aspects.
Someone he looks up to
In terms of players who I like and look up to on the pitch, I'd say Kanté is one of them. He's a central midfielder who recovers a lot of balls.
A family at the VCF Academy
I'm living with my family, and every game that we play at Mestalla, they are there supporting the team. They are very happy for me and pleased with my growth.
My little sister plays for VCF Femenino D. She's very happy as well, and I'm happy for her. She's enjoying herself alongside me at the club.
I'm trying to watch her games in order to help her. She listens to me.
Your biggest support inside the dressing room
Above all, I get on well with the French players like Diakhaby and Foulquier. They help the young players, which enables us to grow.
We have the Copa del Rey soon, and I'm looking forward to this competition because it is important.
The importance of Mestalla's support
We play well at Mestalla with the support of our fans. I think it's the best way for us to win, with their support. We are going to give our all.
I hope that we have a great game and keep a clean sheet. The most important thing is that, because if we defend well, I'm sure that we will score goals.
