Kitman modifications for a new way of working

Adaption is needed by everybody involved in the return of LaLiga next week, and the kitmen are no different. In preparation for the game against Levante UD on June 12th, the squad have been hard at work in training -and those who have been setting up their equipment for the task have been modifying their procedures to comply with safety measures and protocol.
Txemanu Lopez, the Valencia CF Head Kitman, spoke to VCF Media about the challenges and requirements of the various phases of training.
"It really is very different to how we did things before. We give the players their kit individually in a bag, and it is disinfected after every training session. There have been safety measures that made things a little more difficult," he said this week.
López also explained the conundrums posed by the initial week back at the Ciudad Deportiva.
"The most difficult phase of the return was the initial phase, in which players worked individually on three different pitches. Each pitch needed its own specific set of equipment for training, and we were practically required to be in three places at once. It was all very individualised and that made it a little difficult to meet everybody's needs.
"Nothing changes, but the procedure is different. I understand that they are necessities with which we have to comply so that everything goes well, and we make every effort."
