In the dressing room at Mestalla, a group of 13 children from the ASPANION association (Parents of Children with Cancer in the Valencia Region), invided by the VCF Foundation, were surprised by a visit from Gonçalo Guedes.
The club wanted to mark February 15th, the International Day for Children with Cancer, with the greeting from Guedes, who was delighted to spend time with those present.
The children, aged between 6 and 17, were cancer sufferers and their siblings accompanying them: Carlos, Juan, Sebastián, Ángel, César, David, Nicole, Unai, Pau, Paola, Rocío, Víctor and Sandra.
Parents are an active part of the recovering process for curing the children, and the ASPANION association is composed of mothers and fathers of those affected, operating voluntarily.
