Gracia: "We should be as ambitious as possible and try to improve our daily work"
Javi Gracia watched his side take a 2-2 draw against Real Sociedad in LaLiga, and he spoke about how Valencia CF came back from a 0-2 deficit in his post-match press conference.
A first half with room for improvement
"We weren't bad at the start of the game. In the first half the opposition dominated things more, but we had the clearest chance from the penalty that we didn't convert. The second goal was conceded in the final minute of the half, from a mistake building up the play. We were affected by that at halftime, and the team deserve credit for having been able to see the opportunity that we had in the second half and turn the result around.
We scored two goals and defended when at a numerical disadvantage. It deserves praise that we were capable of reacting like that. The first half could have been improved in many ways, but things could have been different if we had made the most of the penalty."
The second half reaction
"There are personal and then collective reactions. In the dugout we try to give the team strength so that they don't fall apart. Everybody reacts in a different way to disappointment. We tried to be strong as a team, because we were making many mistakes that stacked the odds against us in games. Without those mistakes in the first half, perhaps we would have deserved the win."

Demanding to the end
"Every person will feel different things. My feeling is that I have to prepare for each game as best as I can, try to improve and try to win every game that remains. That is my feeling. We played against a good side and we got a point. We weren't able to maintain our run of home wins, and now we have to improve away from home."
Maxi Gómez' sending off
"The incident with Maxi is something that we have to avoid: Not just because of our need to turn the scoreline around, but rather because of the incident itself. We can't afford to do things like that. We will speak in the future and evaluate every possibility. There has been no decision made right now."
