On Matchday 8 of the 2019/20 season, Ezequiel Garay reached a milestone in his sporting career. The game against Deportivo Alavés was his 100th for Valencia CF.
The 32 year old has played in 82 LaLiga games, 5 in the Champions League, 5 in the UEFA Europa League and 8 in the Copa del Rey since he arrived at Mestalla in the summer of 2016.
He is the member of the current squad with the fifth most official appearances for Valencia CF, behind with Dani Parejo, Rodrigo, José Luis Gayà and Carlos Soler.
Garay celebrated the achievement in the best way possible, with the club achieving their first win at Mestalla since Albert Celades took charge. He helped the team to back-to-back victories for the first time since May, and now starts his second 'centenary' of games for VCF.
