Escoles Cor Blanquinegre project to be reinforced by auction and donations
Escoles Cor Blanquinegre is one of the four projects that will benefit from funds raised through the VCF Foundation and MatchWornShirt charity auction, and through donations.
Objects donated by Valencia CF footballers and cultural and sports personalities, all of them autographed by the donors, are available for bidding.
Donations can also be made by bank transfer (ES46 2100 8622 6902 0013 9443) or BIZUM (05482).
The VCF Foundation plans to launch a programme in Escoles Cor Blanquinegre so that the largest number of schools in depopulated areas of the region can participate in a sports day.
The other three projects are: “VCF Inclusivo” from the VCF Foundation; “Personalised physical exercise. Keys to aging better”, from the Health Research Institute of the Clinical Hospital of Valencia (INCLIVA); and “Accommodation for displaced Ukrainians”, from the Juntos Por La Vida foundation.
Escoles Cor Blanquinegre has been in operation since the 2015/16 season in the Valencia region,
The objective is to help improve minors at risk of social exclusion in their daily lives, with training given by coaches from the VCF Foundation in schools.
Valencia CF offer an educational tool to teachers to motivate Escoles students and their classmates.
Inmates of the penitentiary centres in the Valencia region are also beneficiaries of Escoles Cor Blanquinegre, helping with their reintegration.
Currently, there are 500 participants in total, and 5,000 indirect beneficiaries.
