David Villa to take honourary kick-off before Valencia CF-FC Barcelona

Find out all the details of David Villa's tribute which will take place on Saturday at Mestalla.

Valencianista, come down to Mestalla with plenty of time to spare on Saturday because the Valencia CF-FC Barcelona build-up is going to be packed with excitement. From 7pm the action will begin on Avenida de Suecia upon the players' arrival at Mestalla. A warm welcome is expected as our fanbase usually do on big nights like this.

Once our team get inside the dressing room, the action will continue on Avenida de Suecia. It will be David Villa's moment. The legendary asturian striker will go out onto the balcony of Mestalla to unveil his canvas alongside the Valencia CF fans.

Subsequently, an institutional act will take place with the president Layhoon Chan. Finally, David Villa will take to the Mestalla pitch to take the honourary kick-off. In short, an unforgettable pre-match bulild-up!

Schedule for David Villa's tribute

- 7 pm:  Welcome to the players upon their arrival at Mestalla

- 7:40 pm David Villa will go out onto the Mestalla balcony to unveil his canvas.

- 8:00 pm: Institutional act together with the president Layhoon Chan

- 8:50 pm: David Villa will take it to the Mestalla pitch.

- 8:59 pm: David Villa will take the honourary kick-off.
