Arias: "The decision to re-referee plays that do not have to be re-refereed confuses us"

The decision to disallow a Rodrigo goal against Real Madrid was a major talking point from Valencia CF's defeat at the Alfredo Di Stefano, and club ambassador Ricardo Arias commented on the incident at half time.
“It is a completely confusing situation. It confuses us all, especially the decision to re-referee plays that do not have to be re-refereed, in which Maxi's intention is not to intervene in play or touch the ball. In a situation like this, in which neither the players themselves ask for the intervention of the VAR, I do not know why this type of action has to be taken," he told Spanish television channel Movistar in the break.
