DIEGO LÓPEZ: “WE DIDN'T HAVE A GOOD GAME”

“First of all, I would like to apologise to and thank the fans who travelled here, and those who watched us from home. Today was not a good day for us: We did not start out well, we sat very deep, almost waiting for them to come close to scoring a goal. In the end, we held on, but they took the lead in stoppage time in the first half. At half-time, Baraja put pressure on us and then we found ourselves further behind with the second goal, which killed us off. Today was not a good game overall. We saw a Valencia CF that did not press like in the last few games. We tried to react, but it was too late."

In the end, it's a defeat. We can't collapse because of one loss, because we've been doing things very well. 

Next Saturday we have another opportunity at Mestalla, against Almeria -who are sure to have a lot of desire to win because of where they are in the table. I'm certain that we'll have a great game and get the result.
