Mouctar Diakhaby spoke about his return to Mestalla with Valencia CF after the win over Celta Vigo

A SPECIAL MOMENT

“It was a very special day for me. We won, which was the most important thing. I have a good feeling. Now it's time for the Copa del Rey. It's very difficult to explain what I felt when I was applauded on. I was really looking forward to setting foot in Mestalla. It's always special for me. I'm very happy. Mestalla was top class. I wanted to score a goal and take part in the party. It wasn't a goal, but it almost was. I can't imagine what would have happened if I had scored that chance.”

GETTING BACK ON THE PACE

“Training and matches are not the same. You have to get into the rhythm of the match by playing. With what the coaches give me, I'm going to try to get up to match speed and get used to playing.”

“We need the fans. We know the history we have with the Copa del Rey. I've already won it once. We have to dream. We have to go for it and win.”
