The Valencia CF legend, Pepe Claramunt, has been the protagonist of l’Informatiu on VCF Media Radio in order to speak about the tribute received in the match against Atlético de Madrid on the occasion of the ‘Any Claramunt’, as well as to comment on the current situation of the men’s first team.

“It was very emotional, I am very grateful. The fans behaved very well with me. I have to thank Valencia CF for the gesture they have had and for always collaborating in favour of everything that is done in this ‘Any Claramunt’ on the occasion of my 80th anniversary. I felt like I was there at the centre of the pitch where I had been so happy and had made people happy. It was a pride and satisfaction to be there with the fans, who have been so loyal. Valencia CF is great because of the fans it has”.

“I felt great satisfaction. All my life I have tried to make the people who applauded me happy, giving them victories and trying to be a player who won matches and that they were happy with the team. I have done everything I could, I have never had problems wearing the jersey under any conditions, whenever the coaches or the Club asked me to. I have always collaborated with whatever the team needed. Above me, the Club has always been first. I did not look at my physical condition, but at what the team needed. I have never put obstacles to help”.
