Dinamo Star SE from Hungary carry out Training Experience at Ciudad Deportiva
The players travel from Budapest to Spain
25 U16 players from the VCF Academy Greece had a Training Experience at the Ciutat Esportiva del Valencia CF.
‘It has been a magical experience," said Stella Tsoukou, one of the 25 U16 players from the VCF Academy Greece who had the opportunity a few weeks ago to have a Training Experience at Valencia CF's Ciutat Esportiva and enjoy a meeting with VCF Femenino players for the first time.
"It's a great opportunity for us, for me in particular because I live on a small island and we don't have many options to see this kind of training," says Stella who, with her teammates, was able to complete a full experience of training, friendly matches, as well as a visit to the Camp de Mestalla in addition to that special moment of the meeting with VCF Femenino.
"It has been very exciting to meet the players here at the Ciutat Esportiva. I'm very grateful to be here," said Konstantina Kourmargiali, who couldn't hide her joy at the experience and the emotions she had experienced.
Stella and Konstantina are among the nearly one hundred players that make up the VCF Academy Greece in the different branches it has in Greece.
An enriching experience
"It's the first time we've been in Valencia with our girls. It has been a great experience with VCF Femenino and it is perfect for our girls to talk to the players and see what the professional way of training is, to know what they have to do to train at the highest level’ explains Marios Petsoulas, coach of the Elit Group at the VCF Academy Greece.
vcf academy greece's commitment to women's football

road to the elite
Some of these players, such as Afroditi Stefani, have been called to the Greek U19 national team, preventing her from participating in this Training Experience.
"It was a pity she couldn't come, but we are very proud of her and her call-up to the national team. She is an example for all the players that thanks to this programme many doors can be opened in Valencia CF and all over the world’ concludes Marios.
vcf academy programs
The VCF Academy Greece is part of the different VCF Academies that Valencia CF has in different parts of America, Asia and Europe and of the different international projects that Valencia CF carries out to expand the Valencia CF brand and what its colours symbolise worldwide. This Internationalisation Strategy has been a finalist in the World Football Summit Awards 2023.
Last season, more than 5000 players from 50 countries participated in some of the activities that make up the VCF Academy Programs: VCF Academies, VCF Camps, Training Experience, Coaching Convention, VCF Academy World Cup, Clinics... and that allow them to learn more about the working methodology of the VCF Academy, the fourth best in Europe in the training of players to compete at the elite level.
