9 GOALS FOR OUR NUMBER 9

Hugo Duro surpasses his best goal-scoring season in LaLiga EA Sports
Valencia CF striker Hugo Duro scored his ninth goal of the season in the win against Athletic Club de Bilbao, in matchday 21 of LaLiga EA Sports 23-24. In doing so, he surpassed his best goalscoring record (7) in domestic competition.

The che striker is an example of fight, sacrifice, and commitment. He fights for every ball as if it were the last and as a result, the reward comes. The attacker from Madrid is the team's top scorer in the 23-24 season, the sixth -tied with Gerard Moreno- of all LaLiga EA Sports 23-24 and the third/fourth in the fight for the Zarra trophy of the season. His best LaLiga stats as a Valencia CF striker came in the 2021-22 campaign, in which he scored 7 goals.

His goal against Athletic Club de Bilbao gave the Valencia side the victory, a triumph that allowed Valencia CF to reach seventh place in LaLiga with 32 points from 21 games played. But not only his goals have been important to achieve the 4 consecutive victories in the national competition, but also his assists (2), his defensive work and effort have made possible this good moment of the squad. His importance on the pitch is also reflected in the minutes played (1,728) -third Valencia CF player with more minutes-.
