The Valencia reserve team celebrated the achievement with a special dedication to Fernando Martín.
The VCF Femenino B achieved promotion to the Segunda Federación Femenina de España this Sunday after also defeating Extremadura Femenino CF in the second leg of the decisive promotion playoff, following their title win in Group VI of the Tercera Federación Femenina de España.
The tie was already practically decided after the 0–7 first leg, but the final whistle unleashed the joy that had been held back over all these months, and above all the emotions of being able to dedicate the title to Fernando Martín, the team’s coach, who passed away last December in an accident in Indonesia.

The VCF Femenino B have always kept Fernando Martín very much in mind, and the main motivation for both the players and the coaching staff led by Victor García has been to first win the league title and then achieve promotion, in order to dedicate it to “Fer” and stand by his family, who were also present this Sunday during this moment of mixed emotions.
The VCF Femenino B reserve team received on the pitch the trophy that confirmed them as champions of Group VI of the Tercera Federación Femenina de España, in a ceremony attended by the president of the Federació de Futbol de la Comunitat Valenciana, Salvador Gomar, and the president of VCF Femenino, Salvador Belda.
With the trophy already in the hands of the captain, the team enjoyed and celebrated a title and promotion with a very special feeling, looking up to the sky.
