The Valencia CF reserve team kick off preparations to compete in Group III of the Segunda Federación
With excitement and a desire to reconnect. That’s how VCF Mestalla began their pre-season, which got underway this Monday, 7 July, with the usual medical tests.
All the players were called up at 08:30 and greeted each other warmly, catching up after the holidays—some of which they had spent together—while also saying hello to the coaching staff, once again led by Miguel Ángel Angulo for a fifth consecutive season.

It was a special morning for the new faces, including Mario González, the first signing for VCF Mestalla this season, welcomed by his former teammate and namesake Mario Domínguez. Familiar faces such as Marc Jurado and Dani Sánchez have returned from loan spells, and there is a special sense of excitement among the many young players promoted from VCF Juvenil A, following their excellent campaign in the División de Honor, which saw them reach the final of the Copa de Campeones.
