VCF Cadete A ready to play the Next Generation Trophy in Austria
The Valencian team will compete in this prestigious tournament from August 14 to 18 in Salzburg
VCF Cadete A is getting ready to face its first big pre-season tournament that takes them to Austria to participate in the Next Generation Trophy, a prestigious international tournament held at the Red Bull Akademia in Salzburg.
The team coached by Vicente Amposta travels this Wednesday to participate in an international tournament in which clubs such as Chelsea FC, SL Benfica, Brigthon & Hove Albion and TSG Hoffenheim, among others, are taking part.

Valencia CF is in Group C alongside Red Bull Leizpig of Germany and Brondby IF of Denmark in a competition that is played in two 25-minute halves.

The top two in each group qualify for the quarterfinals, semifinals and final playoffs that will be played between Friday and Saturday.
VCF Cadete A will be looking to showcase the VCF Academy identity that won this Next Generation Trophy in 2019 and finished third in 2021.

VCF Cadete A faces its first test in a season in which the team is made up of a good part of the players who last season were part of the FVCF Cadete, champion among others of the MLS Next in the USA, and who face the challenge of defending the Autonomous League title achieved last season.
