VCF Academy sets a new record for international call-Ups

30 players have been called up to youth national teams during the 2025–26 season

Valencia CF Academy has once again surpassed its previous record for international call-ups during the 2025–26 season. A total of 30 players have been selected to represent various youth national teams, exceeding the previous record of 28 set during the 2024–25 campaign.

The total of 30 international players from Valencia CF Academy is a testament to the outstanding work carried out every day by all departments at the Club’s Ciutat Esportiva. Their commitment to developing elite players capable of competing at the highest level continues to strengthen VCF Academy’s reputation as an international benchmark in player development.

The figure of 30 international players is even more significant considering that one in every seven eligible players at VCF Academy has represented their respective national team. This further highlights Valencia CF Academy’s commitment to prioritising quality over quantity in player development, reinforcing its focus on nurturing elite talent capable of performing at the highest level.

INTERNATIONALS IN europE, AMERICA AND AFRICA

The 30 international players developed at VCF Academy have primarily represented Spain’s men’s and women’s youth national teams. However, the Academy’s international reach extends far beyond, with players also earning call-ups for countries including Argentina, Morocco, Canada, Lithuania, Hungary, Ukraine, Cyprus and Romania.
