The VCF Academy World Cup will take place next June at the Valencia CF Training Ground, hosting a record-breaking edition in its fifth year. This EDITION will bring together 15 U12 teams from the Club’s Academy Programs across America, Asia, Europe and Oceania.
CULTURAL EXPERIENCE
Around 220 children from different corners of the world will gather from June 25 to 28 at the Valencia CF Training Ground to enjoy a unique experience where football and cultural exchange go hand in hand, reflecting the philosophy of the VCF Academy: Sentiment, Valentia i Germanor.
GROWTH
Over the past five years, the VCF Academy World Cup has continued to grow in terms of participation and has become a must-attend event for young players from the VCF Academy Programs. For one week, the Valencia CF Training Ground will be transformed into a small World Cup, while participants will also enjoy the city of Valencia and visit Mestalla Stadium, the most historic stadium in LaLiga.
The 15 teams will compete over three days to win the VCF Academy World Cup, aiming to succeed Hungary’s Dinamo Star SE as champions and join a list of winners that includes FK Zalgiris Kaunas from Lithuania, Polisportiva Bruinese from Italy, and Escoles VCF.
VCF ACADEMY PROGRAMS
The VCF Academy World Cup is part of the VCF Soccer Academy Programs, which—alongside the VCF Academies that Valencia CF has in different strategic markets around the world, the VCF Soccer Camps, international partnerships, technical consultancy, and the VCF Coaches Convention—help expand the global reach of the Valencia CF brand and what its colours represent.
Each season, more than 5,000 children and 500 coaches from 55 countries around the world take part in the VCF Academy Programs.
