VCF Femenino have reached an agreement to renew Sara Tamarit’s contract for two more seasons, until 30 June 2027.
Born in Massanassa on 28 June 2005, Sara Tamarit has spent 12 years defending the badge of the club she calls home. She joined the VCF Academy in 2013 at just eight years of age, progressing through the ranks to become a first-team player. She made her official debut for the senior side on 17 October 2022, against Real Madrid CF.
To date, Sara has made 56 official appearances for Valencia CF: 54 in the league and 2 in the Copa de la Reina.
The No. 2 in the black and white shirt is a defensive-minded player who primarily features at full-back but can also slot into midfield when needed.
Sara Tamarit: “I was born here, I grew up here, and I’ve worn this shirt for as long as I can remember. This club is my home—I couldn’t walk away now, not when it needs me most. We’re going through a tough time, but it’s also a moment that can make us stronger.”
“I’m staying because I believe in this project,” Tamarit added, “in my teammates, and in a fanbase that has never stopped supporting us, even through the hardest moments. Now more than ever, I want to keep fighting and keep lifting this great badge.”
