Mestalla to host 'The Champions Burger' this summer

This summer, Mestalla will be the venue for the fifth edition of 'The Champions Burger', the gastronomic festival that names the 'Best burger in Spain'. It has become the event in the burger sector with the most attendees and participation from restaurants across the country.

Throughout the month of June, Mestalla will become the meeting point for the best hamburger restaurants in Spain, where visitors will be able to taste a wide variety of products from more than 20 gourmet hamburger restaurants in a food truck format. All varieties will be available, from the most classic offerings to the most creative, avant-garde inventions, all with the best selected certified meats, artisan breads and top quality fresh products.

Visitors will vote based on aspects such as bread, meat and the combination of ingredients, with the two best burgers (one Valencian and one national) going on to compete to be the 'Best burger in Spain' in the Autumn.

The Champions Burger is expected to be the non-sporting event with the highest attendance of the season, with the presence of thousands of visitors and remaining open from noon until night, uninterrupted.

MESTALLA CONTINUES CONSOLIDATION ITSELF IN THE SCENE OF MACRO EVENTS

The Champions Burger returns to Valencia with the help of Valencia CF and Grupo Memorable, Official Entertainment Partner of the club.

Hosting the hamburger festival par excellence in Spain contributes to continuing to position Valencia CF and Mestalla as a top-level stage in the macro-event sector.

The club are working to expand and improve the events available, and gatherings such as The Champions Burger consolidate a more varied, complete and exciting experience with Valencia CF.

A VALENCIAN PROJECT

The Champions Burger is a gastronomic concept created seven years ago by four young Valencian entrepreneurs, which has become the gastronomic burger festival with the most interest in Spain: In 2023 it received almost a million visitors nationwide.

In this fifth edition, it has already gone through Murcia, Córdoba, Alicante and Zaragoza, where it is being held this week, reaching more than 300,000 visitors. Subsequently, it will travel to Madrid, Barcelona and Seville, before arriving at Mestalla.

Since 2018, The Champions Burger has been searching for the 'Best Burger in Spain' among the most prominent burger restaurants in the country. Due to the success of previous editions, with more than 1,250,000 attendees, and the participation of more than 150 restaurants, the competition has gone from being held only in Valencia (2018, 2019 and 2022) to being held in 16 cities this year, double that of 2023.

This year, the 'Best Burger in Europe' will also be chosen, consolidating the international nature of the championship. It will feature the participation of the 10 best national burgers - from the Spanish final - and a wide representation of burger restaurants from different European countries.
