Valencia CF to face Real Oviedo again after 24 years

Valencia CF and all the fans present at Mestalla paid tribute to the victims and the heroes of the emergency services who participated in the rescue efforts of the terrible fire on Avenida Maestro Rodrigo, in the Campanar neighborhood.
Before the start of the match, representatives of the different emergency services, as well as the state security forces, received the recognition of all the Valencianistas on the pitch of the Camp de Mestalla. In addition, the janitor of the building, Julián García, performed the kick-off.
To complete the tribute, the captains of both teams, José Gayà and Dani Carvajal, placed a wreath in the center of the field and a minute's silence was observed as a sign of mourning in memory of the ten people who died.
