Mamardashvili: "It was our best game of the season so far"

The goalkeeper talks after the 2-0 triumph over Girona FC

Giorgi Mamardashvili spoke after his clean sheet in Valencia CF's first win of theLaLiga season.

An important victory

Today it was a very important victory for us, because we started badly, with very difficult games, and now we have to continue and beat Osasuna.

Mestalla

Mestalla is very important for us, because at home we always play well. We are another team, another force. We have to play like that away from home too. It is not easy but we have to do it. Now we have to recover and go all out againto beat Osasuna.

A complete game

We knew that Girona had just lost against PSG and we knew it was a very difficult match for us. We had our best match so far this season.

Clean sheets

Today was also our best match in the defensive aspects. We did our job today and now we have to continue like this.
