The Big Family of the VCF Academy World Cup

A family photo that keeps growing across the five editions of this U12 tournament with teams from the VCF Academy Programs in America, Asia, Europe and Oceania

The VCF Academy World Cup has come to the end of a fifth edition that will remain unforgettable for the more than 200 children who took part after travelling from the VCF Academy Programs in America, Asia, Europe and Oceania. The final family photo at the Antonio Puchades, together with the great atmosphere experienced during the closing ceremony - including a Mexican wave - is further proof of that.

Along the way there was an intense week of training sessions, matches, emotions and, above all, plenty of learning through the time shared by players from Australia, Mexico, the USA, Canada, Greece, the Netherlands, Belgium, Cyprus, Hungary, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Spain.

A MEMORY FOR A LIFETIME

The best example came in Sunday's farewells after completing the Mestalla Tour and discovering the stadium with the greatest history in LALIGA, or during the finals of the different levels - AWC, Sentiment, Valentia i Germanor - where players from different countries cheered each other on, learned each other's languages and adopted the chants of their new friends.

As they return home, they take with them thousands of images to remember and an experience that will stay with them for the rest of their lives, full of Sentiment, Valentia i Germanor: the Sentiment shared through their passion for football and Valencia CF, the Valentia to travel far from home to discover new ways of understanding football, and Germanor, through the bonds of friendship that have been created and that, thanks to social media, will continue over time and distance, united under the Valencia CF bat.

The VCF Academy World Cup and Players Week, together with the VCF Camps, the VCF Academies, the technical partners, the Coaches Convention, clinics and the Training Experience, are just some of the initiatives that make up the VCF Academy Programs, which every year bring together more than 5,000 players from over 50 countries.
