Valencia CF Academy Showcases Its Methodology at the United Soccer Coaches Convention in the US

The Valencia CF Academy presented its renowned training methodology at the prestigious United Soccer Coaches Convention, held in Chicago. This annual event, considered one of the most significant gatherings of football coaches and experts worldwide, provided a unique platform for the Academy to share its philosophy and approach to developing young talent.

Valencia CF Academy took centre stage at the United Soccer Coaches Convention, the largest soccer event in North America, with a presentation led by two of its key figures: Jordi Hidalgo, Head of Methodology, and Vicente Roch, Technical Director of International Projects.

The Academy’s session provided a detailed demonstration of its renowned player development approach, which has earned recognition as the fourth-best in Europe for producing elite-level footballers, according to the CIES Football Observatory. Through dynamic drills and tactical scenarios, the Valencia CF Academy team illustrated how its methodology equips players to succeed at the highest levels of the sport.

This presentation not only affirmed Valencia CF’s status as a leader in youth development but also strengthened its reputation within the expanding U.S. football market, which is gearing up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. In addition to Valencia CF Academy, the United Soccer Coaches Convention featured presentations by esteemed representatives from some of the world’s leading football organizations. These included Manchester United, Bayern Munich, the German Football Association (DFB), as well as coaches from various levels of U.S. National Teams, MLS clubs, and top American universities.

The United Soccer Coaches Convention also featured a bustling exhibition zone, where Valencia CF maintained a strong presence throughout the event at the stand of Inspiresport, a leading sports tour operator in the UK and the U.S. and a key partner of the VCF Academy Programs.
