Valencia CF have reached an agreement with Clermont Foot 63 to sign Maximiliano Caufriez on loan through to June 30th, 2025, with an option to buy.
At 27 years of age, defender Caufriez has played 198 official matches in Belgium, Russia and France.
A product of the youth systems at RSC Anderlecht and Standard Liège, two of Belgium's top clubs, Caufriez took his first steps in the elite playing for SK Beveren and Sint-Truidense in his home country. At the age of 23, he was recruited by FC Spartak Moscow, a club with which he won the Russian Cup in 2022 and played in the Europa League, before joining Clermont 63 in France's Ligue 1.
The new Valencia CF player will join up his new teammates as soon as possible.
