The returning defender reviews a narrow defeat to Real Sociedad
Valencia CF captain José Luis Gayà assessed the defeat against Real Sociedad on LaLiga Matchday 36.
The game
“It was a difficult game. We knew the ground we were coming to and in the end that initial goal from them punished us a lot for not having come into the game as we should have, with more rhythm. In the first half we lacked a bit more aggressiveness, both without the ball and with the ball. I think that later in the second half the team loosened up more, had more moves upfield, more chances to be in the game, and it's a pity about the defeat.”
The match against Girona FC
“We have to focus on Girona FC, try to end the season with better feelings than the ones we are having now. We have a bad dynamic at home and we want to end the season in the best way, with our fans who have helped and supported us a lot. In the end it wasn't to be."
