XIV Meeting of Professional Football Club Foundations begins at Mestalla
On Wednesday, November 24th, the XIV Meeting of Professional Football Club Foundations began at Mestalla. This year's edition is organised by Valencia CF, the VCF Foundation and the LaLiga Foundation, and will involve roundtable discussions focused on analysing the key issues of social responsibility and sustainable development. The event on Thursday will be held at the Hotel SH Valencia Palace.
Valencia CF president, Anil Murthy, together with the director general of the VCF Foundation, Teo Swee Wei, welcomed the representatives of the LaLiga Foundation, led by director, Olga de la Fuente, to the VIP Box at Mestalla. The majority of the Spanish football foundations were in attendance. The president has given Olga de la Fuente a reproduction of the Club's constitutional act.

Anil Murthy said that: “We are all aware of the ability of football clubs to contribute to improving society, and we must not be afraid to assume that responsibility. We have to be social points of references and work as a team, collaborating with public and private entities."
"I am sure that those in charge of football clubs and their foundations feel that our actions are in line with their objective: To contribute to improving society."
"Six months ago, we at the club decided to give a boost to the VCF Foundation project, professionalising it to make it more effective in its mission. In the end, we don't make a distinction between the club and the VCF Foundation. This is 'One Club.'"
Prior to the words by the president of Valencia CF, the attendees were able to enjoy the Mestalla Forever Tour.
