Meet some of the Valencia CF players who have competed in the U-21 European Championship with Spain
Juan Mata and César Tárrega, the most recent scorers in this prestigious international tournament
Daniel Wass commented on Valencia CF's showing against Deportivo Alavés after the team came back from 2-0 down at halftime. The Dane saw positives from the performance, as well as identifying the need for a stronger start.
"Once again we started a game very badly. It was 2-0 after 15 minutes, through two silly mistakes. However, the way we came out for the second half is very positive. We are going to continue like that, and that way we will win many games," Wass told VCF Media.
"We can win games the way we came out for the second half, but it wasn't to be today. A point from here isn't a bad result either, bearing in mind that we were trailing 2-0, but it'ss obviously a pity not to have taken the three points."
