Vicente Navarro Aparicio, the iconic figure that encapsulates the Eternal Sentiment for Valencia CF

A heartfelt bronze statue on a seat in the Tribuna at Mestalla is Valencia CF's tribute to all those who have brought the Club this far.
Since 2019, the Club's centenary year, Mestalla has been home to an emotionally charged sculpture, unique in elite football, which symbolises Valencia CF's tribute to all the Valencianistas who have brought us this far thanks to their love for the Club. Being a Valencia CF fan is an Eternal Sentiment that is carried in the heart, is nurtured and grows from generation to generation, overcoming any difficulty, with the same will to succeed.
In memory of all those who have brought Valencia CF to its 104 years of life and who are no longer here, a sculpture can be seen placed in seat 164 of row 15 in the Central Stand to pay homage to all of them, always present at matches at the centenary Mestalla. Valencia CF is an Eternal Sentiment.

A moving story lies behind this universal tribute to all those who have shared the Valencianista feeling for more than a century. Vicente Navarro Aparicio, member number 18 at the time of his death, used to go to this grandstand seat match after match.
He suffered and felt accompanying Valencia CF away from Mestalla, as in the 1967 Cup final win over Athletic Club, but at the age of 54, he lost his sight due to a detached retina. He stopped seeing... but not feeling.
Valencia CF remained, even stronger, in his heart. Vicente never stopped going to Mestalla with his son. He lived the games, he felt Valencia CF, he enjoyed the unique atmosphere while his son narrated the plays, and the 2004 Doublete season was the happiest year of his life, sharing the pure emotion of thousands and thousands of hearts like his own.
