Eray Cömert has been a permanent fixture at the heart of Valencia CF’s backline in Gennaro Gattuso’s lineup this season racking up a total of 11 appearances from 14 fixtures.
His robustness and reliability in pre-season and during LaLiga with some fine performances have earned him a place in the Switzerland senior side.
Eray Cömert made his Switzerland senior debut in the Euro 2020 qualifiers against Gibraltar at the Victoria stadium, in a game that ended in a 1-6 win for the Swiss side which saw them book their ticket for the Euros.
