VCF Mestalla play out goalless draw with FC Jove Español de San Vicente

VCF Mestalla played out a goalless draw with FC Jove Español de San Vicente on Matchday 4 of the Grupo VI de Tercera RFEF season. The result sees the team remain unbeaten, with three wins and a draw, and on a run of two consecutive clean sheets.

The team attempted to control the game with close passes, compared to the direct style of the opposition, who put in several crosses and throw-ins that failed to test Charly in the VCF Mestalla goal.

Long shots from H. González and Fran Pérez were VCF Mestalla's best chances in the first half.  

After the break, the game resumed with the same dynamic, and the team sought to freshen things up and provide greater depth with a triple substitution in the 60th minute, bringing on Javi Guerra, Marc Ferris and Bashiru .M.

A combination between Bashiru .M and Fran Pérez was the best opportunity of a winning goal, but the FC Jove San Vicente goalkeeper saved the shot from the latter. He also reached the ball ahead of Bashiru .M when the VCF Mestalla striker was looking to meet a dangerous cross from Marc Ferris.

The game ended without a goal, earning the team a point.
