VCF Juvenil A to kick off Al Abtal International Cup

VCF Juvenil A will play their Al Abtal International Cup opener on Wednesday 19th of October. An U19 tournament organised by the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Sports that sees the participation of clubs from different countries such as England, France, Portugal, Belgium Greece or Austria amongst other countries.
VCF Juvenil A have been placed in group A alongside AS Monaco, Red Star, Sporting Lisbon, Saudi Future White Falcons and Saudi Future Green Falcons with whom they will play their opening game on Wednesday at 3:30 pm kick-off time in Salou, Tarragona.
All four group leaders will qualify for the next stage and the three best second-placed sides.

VCF Juvenil A will combine Al Abtal with the domestic competition where Paco Cuenca’s side are currently sitting pretty at the top of the table with a full set of victories from their opening 6 Matchdays.

This is the third appearance for VCF Academy sides at the International Cup which saw VCF Juvenil A crowned winners of the past edition After beating Atletico Madrid in the final and the previous edition saw Juvenil B come tantalisingly close to going through to the semi-finals.
