Jordi Alba announces his retirement from professional football
The decorated Spanish defender joined Valencia CF at the age of 18, the Club where he grew and was given the opportunity to make his LALIGA debut
The VCF Innovation Hub presented the second edition of its innovation programme in an online event organised by Startup Valencia this week.
Several experts in their fields spoke at 'The Lounge by Digital Summit: VCF + Startups: Success Formula,' including Daniel Roca, Vice President of the sales department at Blinkfire Analytics, and Diego Moya, Director of Fit at Jeff. Both highlighted the importance of shortening the learning curve for startups and the benefits of working together with an entity such as Valencia CF on developing projects.
In the session, moderated by Juan Luis Hortelano, president of Startup Valencia, COO and co-founder of Blinkfire Analytics, Franco Segarra, Director of Innovation at Valencia CF, had the opportunity to present the VCF Innovation Hub project and define the value that the club offers to associated companies.
The programme is designed for startups with innovative ideas that belong to one of the 4 verticals defined by the club (Medicine and Sports Science, the VCF Academy, Smart Stadium and Fan Engagement). Registration will be open until April 30th and the programme will begin in September.
