The Innovation Hub collaborations with different companies and startups have begun to represent an important technological boost for the Club. Currently, thanks to the first edition of the Innovation Program, the Valencia CF professionals are immersed in a series of studies and investigations, the results of which will allow them to implement improvements and face problems such as detraining caused by the COVID-19 crisis or improve protocols to reduce the risk of injury.
"The professionals are very happy with the results that are being obtained with the Football Science Institute and we hope to obtain definitive conclusions in the coming weeks", comments Miguel Alonso, Head of Fitness Area / Head of Conditional High Performance.
The Football Science Institute also defines their collaboration with the Valencia CF Innovation Hub as “an ideal opportunity to be able to undertake the objectives, especially the possibility of carrying out research projects within the club according to their interests and to be able to promote the exchange of information between club and FSI professionals”.
This training and research platform is dedicated to football and made up of football professionals from around the world, so being part of the VCF Innovation Hub has allowed them to develop their ideas in the most suitable environment and have access to first-hand information with the professionals of the Club.
"It is an honour and I think it is the perfect place for FSI", confirms its CEO, Bernardo Requena when asked about the VCF Innovation Hub, which will announce the start of the second edition in the coming days. Stay tuned to our channels and do not miss any details about it.
