VCF inclusivo return to LaLiga Genuine action 620 days on

The competition resumed at the weekend after a 620 day hiatus due to the pandemic

 On Friday, November 12th, VCF Inclusivo headed to Tarragona to close the 2019/20 LaLiga Genuine Santander season, suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic and not held during the 2020/21 campaign for the same reason.

A total of 42 clubs of LaLiga Foundation participated in the competition under the motto of sharing before competing.

Thus, 15 footballers and four coaches which were part of the travelling party saw a return to action in LaLiga Genuine under the umbrella of the VCF Foundation in charge of VCF Inclusivo.

In fact, the team were not alone, alongside the players’ relatives, VCF Foundation’s director general, Teo Swee Wei, and other fellow travelling partners in the manner of Puma, Aquaservice, Colevisa and Supertite turned out in support.

VCF Inclusivo were made up by: the goalkeepers Luis and Cristian; the defenders Manolo, Connor, Edu, Toni Reyes and Brandon; the midfielders Tomás, Álvaro Ramírez, Josep, Enrique and Álvaro Reyes; the forwards, Keni, Jona and Rebeca; and the Osvaldo, Fran, Héctor and Julián.

VCF Inclusivo registered two wins over Fundación Albacete (4-0) and Real Betis (3-0), and a draw against CD Tenerife (1-1).

Córdoba FC were named companionship winners, Rayo Vallecano were named sportsmanship winners, and Athletic Club were named fair play winners.
