Valencia CF recognised in CIES study
The club are tenth for talent produced in the last two decades
With the State of Emergency over in Spain, the Valencia CF Inclusivo project run by the VCF Foundation made its long-awaited return with a training session in Beniferri. The required hygiene and safety protocol and regulations were all followed to ensure a safe environment for the participants.
In a season finale as atypical as the season itself, the members of the project were finally able to see their teammates and coaches in person, after their contact was limited to online conversations during the country’s lockdown period.
José Luis Zaragosí, member of the VCF Foundation and Valencia CF board member, said that these virtual training sessions have been very important on a physical and, above all, psychological point perspective. Osvaldo Márquez, coordinator of VCF Inclusivo, commented that it was necessary to mature together and that the human team remains after this difficult time. In addition to Zaragosí and Márquez, general director of the VCF Foundation, Pablo Mantilla, also watched the training session.
